Ceiling Tiles

[Ceiling Tiles]

Product Description
These 2' x 2' square melamine foam ceiling tiles are an excellent choice for controlling sound reverberation within a variety of rooms. Available in a plain face, or with a number of different bevels cut into the panel, they can be used to form unique visual patterns in the ceiling. Their absorption coefficients are much stronger than standard ceiling tiles.

Designed for a drop-in ceiling tile grid structure, or direct adhering to a smooth surfaced ceiling, these acoustic lay-in ceiling tiles offer a sculptured surface pattern for beautiful decor, combined with their exceptional acoustic properties for taming unwanted sound in a variety of professional applications. Use these lightweight tiles to create unique ceiling designs and improve your room acoustics.

Tips:

Hypalon skins can be sprayed on the tiles for moisture resistancy if need be. The panels can also be glued flat to a finished ceiling if no grid is in place. The panels can also be painted with any latex paint to match your color, but will lose about 10% of your absorption effect.
Installation Techniques:

The 2" thickness drops into an existing grid structure. You can get cross grids if your existing system is a 2'x4' style. For finished ceilings, the 1" Trim Tile can be used to glue direct to the ceiling.
The standard installation is simple. Drop them into an existing ceiling tile grid structure. You may need to purchase cross bars to convert a 2' x 4' grid structure into a 2' x 2' grid structure. The tiles are delivered beveled and lipped to fit squarely into the grids. If the thinner Trim Tiles are used for adhering directly to a smooth ceiling surface (as opposed to the lay-in grid structure), contact us at 1-800-NETWELL for installation instructions!
