These 1" thick flat sound panels are made of melamine foam with the Silence Wallcovering laminated to its face. Ideal for colorful sound absorption in a variety of class A applications in public facilities. Available in 2'x4' or 4'x4' panel sizes. Lightweight and versatile.

 

Combine the beauty of our Silence Wallcovering material and the outstanding absorption coefficients of our FireFlex melamine foam panels, and you have the perfect Class A Fire Rated treatment for any aesthetic noise control application! This 1" thick panel, covered in 24 different Silence colors, is ideal for ceiling grid structures or vertically mounted wall panels.

 

Tips:

 

The panels have exposed sides. The Silence does not wrap around to the back of the panel. You would need to build frames for the panels, have the sides exposed, or paint them to match the color you select for the facing. For a more finished look, check our Fabric Panels that are wrapped around the edges to the back!

 

Installation Techniques:

 

Most customers glue these panels to a wall using silicone based caulk. Be careful when aligning these panels together for slight thickness variations due to compressibility of foam. More suited for individual panels separate from one another. Also ideal for colorful alternative to standard ceiling tiles!
Drop-in ceiling tile grid, or wall mounted using J-channels.
