Doug Trapp (Cat), a Twin Cities performer, is delighted to make his debut here. Nicole Stefonek— (Maureen/Snowy/Lowbutt/Mother Swan) hails from New Richmond, WI and attended St. Mary's University in Winona. She acquired a BFA in musical theatre performance and is happy to be back in the bluffs. Nicole has performed extensively in the Twin Cities, doing such shows as Side Show (Park Square Theatre), The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin and The Human Comedy (Illusion Theatre), St. Luke's (Theatre Unbound), Nunsense II (Minnesota Musical Theatre) and Godspell (Minnesota Festival Theatre). You can also catch her this October in The Rocky Horror Show with Minneapolis Musical Theatre. Special thanks to all family and friends, especially my parents. I love you more than you know.
Clark A. Cruikshank*—(Drake, Bullfrog, Barnacles) managing director and actor-in-residence at the JHT since last September, has appeared on this stage in To Whom It May Concern, The Fantasticks, and Grand Opening. A member of the Twin Cities theatrical community since 1990, he has appeared in over 25 shows on such varied stages as the Great American History Theatre, Illusion Theater, Lake Pepin Players, and Park Square Theatre. He is pleased to be employed in promoting the JHT and Southeast Minnesota (don't get him started), and is very grateful to his son Ben and wife Maria for their continued support of his insidious "theater habit".
Zoe Pappas—(Penny, Henrietta, Pinkfoot, Maggie Pie), is very happy to be working with the Jon Hassler Theater for the third time. In past seasons, you may have seen her as Luisa in The Fantasticks and Sister in To Whom It May Concern. Recently, she performed the role of Girl in Edward Albee's The Play About the Baby for Eye of the Storm Theatre and Bess in Illusion Theater's The Human Comedy. A special thanks to my close friends—especially Ali. But, most importantly, thanks to my family—you guys mean the world to me.
Arnie Roos—(Graylag, Father Swan, Turkey) appeared most recently as Tony Hendon in the Minneapolis Musical Theatre production of Lucky Stiff. He has also worked with Paul Bunyan Playhouse (The Elephant Man), Minnesota Festival Theatre (The Robber Bridegroom), and Shakespeare in the Park (Much Ado About Nothing, The Taming of the Shrew), and portrayed Marley's Ghost in several national tours of A Christmas Carol for Troupe America, Inc. Honk! marks Arnie's JHT debut.
Peter David Middlecamp—(Ugly) a recent graduate of St. Olaf College, has been active in theater since age nine, appearing onstage in over forty shows, including West Side Story, Twelfth Night, Amadeus, and Sweeney Todd. Professional credits include Raised in Captivity at the Phoenix, The Cocoanuts at Illusion Theater, and Romeo and Juliet with the MN Shakespeare Project. Peter would like to thank the JHT for such a wonderful opportunity.
Holly Schroeder—(Grace, Dot, Queenie, Bewick) has worked in theater, TV and film, starting in Chicago with The Second City, Shattered Globe Theater, Timberlake Playhouse and Candlelight Forum. Some film and TV credits include Six Days in Roswell, Pulp Comics on Comedy Central, the Fox Family Channel, Unsolved Mysteries and oodles of commercials. She has been a cabaret artist performing at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, The Lehman Engel Workshop, the Bryant Lake Bowl and aboard the QE2. Locally, she's performed at The Children's Theater, The Ordway Music Theater, Great American History Theater, Loring Playhouse and New Tradition Theatre. Holly writes professionally for numerous publications and is thrilled to be in Honk! as she is a bird enthusiast.
Jen Burleigh-Bentz—(Ida) joins us for the first time at the JHT. Twin Cities roles include Patsy in Bingo, Florinda in Into the Woods, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Celeste in Tony n Tina's Wedding, and Bonnie in Anything Goes. She toured with Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story and Miracle on 34th Street. Jen resides in River Falls, WI with her hubby, Tom.

Billy Kimmel (Director / Choreographer) served as President of On Stage Entertainment 1996-1998, overseeing all business matters (production, marketing, publicity,and payroll) as well as creative development (writing, direction, choreography and casting authority) for live stage shows. In 1997 and 2001 Billy served as Live Entertainment Seasonal Manager for Valleyfair Amusement Park, overseeing production, casting, development, rehearsal and execution. He has directed, choreographed and produced for 3M Innovations, Target Corporation, Wal-mart Corporation, Lyric Theatre, John Hassler Theater, Knotts Camp Snoopy, Double JJ Resort, Valleyfair, Idlewild Park, The Design Group, Mall Of America, Alpine Industries, Ecoquest International, Winsor Concepts and JC Penny Co. Billy also has twenty eight years of performing experience in national tours, industrials, theme parks and regional productions including: Brigadoon, Crazy For You, Forever Plaid, 42nd Street, My Fair Lady, and Forbidden Broadway at Chanhassen Theatres; Anything Goes, I Love A Piano in New York and at the Ordway; The Prince and the Pauper at the Ordway and The 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle. Gifts of the Magi and Boxelder Bug Variations here at the JHT. Opryland USA, Walt Disneyworld, Busch Gardens and Holland America Cruise Line.

Miriam Gerberg (Music Director) is also a composer and performer who works with world musics. Her background in music theater includes music directing and composing at the New York State Theatre Institute, New York Theater Ensemble and 13th Street Repertory (New York), Cherry Creek Theatre (Mankato), The Children's Theatre Company, Illusion Theater, The Lyric Theatre and Theatre Three (Minneapolis). Her original music theater and new opera works have been produced at The Minnesota Opera New Works Ensemble, Nautilus Music-Theater and Hillel House (Minneapolis), The Great American History Theatre and SteppingStone Theatre (St Paul), The Village Theater (Seattle) and at Mankato State University, Gustavus Adolphus College, Wesleyan University, UCLA and the University of Taipei (Taiwan). She has received grants and fellowships for her work from the Minnesota State Arts Board, the NEA, the McKnight Foundation and Jerome CCP Commissions (to name a few).

Bethany Moritz (Stage Manager) is pleased to be working with the Jon Hassler Theater for the first time. She was last seen as Lucy in the Ordway Center's production of You're A Good Man Charlie Brown. Regional roles include Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream; Rosa in The Mystery of Edwin Drood; Svetlana in Chess; Swifty in Words Words Words; and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. Love and honks to my family and friends for all their support.

Paul Kovacovic (pianist) lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he teaches piano at the Center for Performing Arts and is the Accompanist for One Voice Mixed Chorus. His range of styles extends from classical to jazz. Paul has won First Prizes in the Schubert Club, Thursday Musical, Sigma Alpha Iota, and Indiana University Concerto competitions. In 1999, he toured the United States with singer Tony Sandler and the vocal ensemble Three Hits and a Miss (currently starring JHT alum, David Anderson). Kovacovic has also performed extensively in the Czech Republic. His latest music theatre performances include a Midwest tour of The Barber of Seville with the Minnesota Opera, and Sisters of Swing at the Great American History Theatre.

Kellie Stoltz (Assistant Stage Manager) has participated in some aspect of every production at the Jon Hassler Theater since its first season. She is currently attending Minnesota State University-Mankato (MSU), majoring in Technical Theater. Last year at MSU, she was the Assistant Stage Manager for The Real Inspector Hound and The Mikado, and was Master Electrician for Julius Caesar. In September, she will debut as Stage Manager for MSU's production of Escape From Happiness.

Ben Hain (Lighting Designer) has been active in theatre for almost 20 years. He was lighting advisor at John Marshall High School in Rochester and then became active with the Rochester Civic Theatre and the Rochester Repertory Theatre. Ben has done all aspects of technical theatre (with lighting being his favorite) as well as appearing onstage. He was lighting advisor to the Allegro/Rochester Ballet School and designed lighting for an original dance program by the Terpsichore 11 Dance company. Ben has worked on projects for Mayo Clinic and Feast And Footlights Dinner Theater. He is married to Kelly and has two children, Preston and Amelia, and operates a dairy farm.

Jeannie Galioto (Costume Designer) earned a degree in costume design and has been costuming shows for the past eight years. Credits include productions for Stepping Stone Theatre, The Illusion Theatre, Shakespeare in the Park, Mixed Blood Theatre Co., Ballet Arts at the Orpheum and the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Besides freelance costume design, Jeannie also does millinery and custom sewing, and assisting the photo stylist.

Erica Zaffarano (Set Designer) has been designing for the Lyric Theatre since 1993 and is the resident designer for the Jon Hassler Theater. She has designed for theatres in Vermont, the Virgin Islands, Washington, California, Nevada, Utah, Iowa, Minnesota and did Artist-in-Residence work at Purdue University in Indiana, Iowa State University, and the University of Maine.
