Dave started taking karate in 1983, weighing in at 258 lbs. with a cholesterol level of 210. By the time he received his black belt in 1991, he was not only 58 lbs. lighter, but the cholesterol level had dropped to 140!

Dave started teaching part time at satellite schools after achieving black belt status and got his Second Degree Black Belt three years later.

Now, a full time instructor, Dave enjoys helping students achieve their goals in class and in tournament competition.
